Kickstarting Real-World Innovation on the IOTA Mainnet

The first participants in IOTA’s Business Innovation Program are building real-world solutions on the new IOTA Mainnet. Kalalohko, Impierce, Orobo, and ObjectID tackle challenges in digital identity, sustainability, and product authenticity, leveraging IOTA’s tech, funding, and support to bring trust and transparency to global systems.

Kalalohko

Enables verifiable seafood provenance from catch to buyer, supporting fairer economics and compliant supply chains.

Kalalohko is rebuilding the seafood supply chain with transparency and fairness. As a new participant in the IOTA Business Innovation Program, it uses IOTA Identity, Notarization, and the Gas Station to trace seafood provenance, support local fishermen, and drive scalable, verifiable real-world adoption.

Impierce

Decentralized Identity Infrastructure for a Privacy-Respecting Digital Society

A European social enterprise developing secure, privacy-first digital identity solutions. By combining open-source innovation with social impact, Impierce empowers individuals and organizations to engage in digital ecosystems without compromising personal data.

Orobo

Digital Product Passports for Trusted and Compliant Supply Chains

Building infrastructure for EU sustainability compliance, Orobo's Digital Product Passport platform enables full lifecycle traceability of products, from raw materials to disposal, supporting regulations like the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation.

ObjectID

Verifiable Product Identities to Power Transparency and Authenticity

Developed by SDV Consulting, ObjectID provides verifiable, tamper-proof identities for physical products. These digital twins ensure traceability, ownership validation, and protection against counterfeiting, leveraging blockchain and AI technologies.

Projects commit to demonstrating measurable activity on the IOTA Mainnet within a reasonable timeframe.

Proven Capabilities

Teams should showcase the technical and domain expertise necessary to deliver a market-ready solution.

Functional Representation

Solutions must create on-chain assets tied to real-world counterparts to emphasize tangible impact.

Our application process ensures alignment with both the strategic objectives of IOTA and your project's goals.

Submit Your Proposal

Use our Partnership Form to outline your objectives, alignment with IOTA, and how you'll leverage the L1 IOTA Mainnet with measurable on-chain metrics.

Initial Meeting

If selected, an IOTA Partnerships Manager will schedule a call to discuss your project's scope, goals, and fit within the IOTA ecosystem.

Pitch Your Idea

Present a one-hour pitch covering your concept, roadmap, milestones, and how your solution solves a real-world challenge.

Complete Due Diligence

Share details about your team, resources, and readiness to execute through our due diligence form.

Proposal Assessment

We evaluate proposals against our Partner Decision Framework to ensure strategic alignment and feasibility.

Define Milestones & Build

If approved, we'll define clear milestones, formalize agreements, and kickstart development on the IOTA Mainnet.
